At First Glance

Muscle Gaining Secrets by Jason Ferruggia at first looked very amateurish. I wasn’t too impressed with the images nor the copy writing. But the content of the book, combined with all the extra information and bonuses provided, make it quite worth the $77. This is a solid muscle building program that explains the basics of weight lighting and really teaches you how to put on SOLID slabs of muscle.

Editorial Review

Muscle Building Secrets is actually one of the top programs I have reviewed. Once you get into the meat of the program you instantly know that Jason knows how to lift and train to gain serious muscle mass. The secret is really following Jason as he teaches you the principles and gives you all the tools to succeed. He also uses real world examples and stories to inspire you, along with showing you that these principles, workouts, and exercises really work.

Beginner Lifters

Another benefit is the variety of workouts and plans. He gives you a 34 week workout plan down to every detail. You know exactly what you are doing, for how long, and what to expect after. If you are just a beginner and not ready for the 34 week plan, he includes a 16 week plan. For beginners this is an AMAZING plan. Most beginners don’t know what they are doing - with this plan, you with grow like a weed!!

There are other workouts such as the dumbbell and barbell workout. These are great for intermediate to advanced lifters who are ready to break away from the machines.

The Negative

The only negative would be the quality of the pictures. He may have been trying to reduce the download size, but I would have rather seen some better pictures. Once you get over this, the program itself is PURE GOLD.

The Price

For what you get… I’m actually quite shocked it’s this cheap. But it’s a tough economy! So I guess something had to give!

Bottom Line

I am very impressed with this book and complete package. There is no reason you should not able to grow from this solid program. It’s one of those programs that include everything you need: exercises, routine, diet and supplementation advice.
